Meritan, Inc., a Tennessee-based health, human, and social services nonprofit, is seeking a compassionate candidate to join its Specialized Foster Care team as a Recruiter/Trainer. This full-time position will closely work with children experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or medical issues and foster families. The Recruiter/Trainer is responsible for assisting in selection and pre-service training of all foster family applicants. Some of the duties of the Recruiter/Trainer include, but are not limited to: recruiting new foster homes; completion of all stakeholder requirements for initial licensure of foster homes; drafting thorough home studies using the SAFE format; completing IMPACT training; completion of annual foster home re-evaluations; ensuring foster home compliance; and maintaining accurate case records.
