Job Summary:

This influential Senior Leadership position will provide both challenge and satisfaction while allowing you to positively impact a regional team of 5 food and environmental services professionals. As Regional Vice President, you will plan objectives for your region and ensure management is in compliance with corporate, regional and financial goals. Maintaining excellent relationships with residents, guests, and clients as well as other departments within the community is vital. Additionally, you will have oversight of the overall operation, growth and profitability of the region, which includes 36 senior living accounts in the following states: DC, FL, IL, IN, KS, MO, OK, MI, TX, WI, NY, TN. Preferred home base is the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and leads the operation in support of Key Performance Indicators. Develops common direction for the team. Sets priorities and makes team agenda and strategy clear to all team members
  • Participates in longe-range planning meetings to develop objectives of the division and assigned region
  • Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures to ensure maximum income from existing accounts
  • Supports the development and implementation of clinical and resident service programs that meet client needs, regulatory agency requirements and meet client, resident and customer satisfaction
  • Conducts Team meetings with Regional Team Members to discuss current objectives. Prepares agendas and conducts training sessions and presentations on issues regarding quality, safety and human resources
  • Develops and maintains annual budget for the assigned region. Monitors financial reports of the region to ensure budgetary compliance with Regional and Company goals
  • Visits accounts regularly to inspect operations to ensure contract compliance
  • Collaborates with existing clients to maintain client satisfaction and account retention
  • Resolves client, resident and customer satisfaction or employee related complaints which have been elevated from regional team. Interfaces with legal and human resources to obtain procedures for various customer and employee related charges
  • Conducts appropriate annual and semi-annual performance evaluations
  • Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed timelines
  • Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provides extraordinary customer service at all points of contact
  • Participates in Resident Visitations with account management team during each site visit, ensures that TouchPoint Resident Satisfaction policies and procedures are followed
  • Trains, motivates and develops management personnel to achieve high level of morale and efficient use of human resources
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Care related field, or equivalent degree or equivalent related experience
  • Must have led a team of six (6) or more director level or above team members - required
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing at least ten (10) multi-unit food and nutrition services (FNS) accounts required
  • Experience with multi-unit FNS management with a combined annual managed volume of $30 million or greater
  • Strong background of driving patient and customer experience
  • Confirmed ability in developing and implementing new business models in the healthcare food service market
  • Shown ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal conversation skills
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification helpful
  • Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
  • Must be willing to participate in patient/resident satisfaction programs/activities
  • ServSafe certified highly desirable
  • Extensive travel required in this position - 75%+
