Job Summary: We are a Behavioral Health Provider currently seeking Registered Nurses for a part time contract position in the Mount Vernon, Ohio region.

Job Type: Part-time Contract

Hours: 10-30 hours a week depending on your schedule.

Requirements: RN Licensure in the state of Ohio.

All applicants must submit/pass background check and drug screening prior to hire.

Individual NPI Number and Medicaid Provider Number preferred.

Primary Duties

• Completes health appraisal on clients upon admission to agency and regularly throughout their course of care
• Provides assistance to nurse practitioners and physicians as necessary
• Evaluate, observe and assess clients physical conditions
• Assists clients with treatment plans prescribed by nurse practitioner and/or physician
• Assists in administering and monitoring medications
• Monitors client vitals
• Educates clients on prescribed medication, physical health, nutrition and self care
• Coordinates care and services with pharmacy, other physicians or referring agencies on behalf of client
• Responds quickly to complete nurse practitioner and physician orders
• Communicates prescribed services and status to client (and client family as appropriate) in a timely fashion
• Participates in client care team meetings
• Maintains accurate and timely records of medications prescribed
• Completes release forms or client medical paperwork as requested
• Assists with medication refills on behalf of nurse practitioners or physicians
• Completes all client documentation accurately and in a timely fashion
