The ER Nurse works in a 13 bed fast paced Emergency Room with all of our fun and dynamic staff of Board Certified Emergency Room Physicians and Nurses. Our organization is proud to hold the "Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus Stroke Award".

We are looking for experienced Emergency Room nurses to join our fun and dynamic team! We have Seasonal (Temporary) openings available working variable shifts. These are Premium paid positions working from Memorial day - Labor day. York Hospital has Emergency Room locations in York and Wells, Maine.

• Must be comfortable with caring for acute stroke, cardiac, pediatrics, geriatrics and trauma patients.
• Making sure that Patient Care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family members, physicians, peers and other members of the healthcare team.
• The nurse maintains the highest standards of emergency nursing practice in the clinical setting and is responsible for creating exceptional patient/family experiences during the delivery of this care.

In order to help us continue to provide exceptional care, we're looking for you to have the following

• Minimum (2) or more years of Emergency Room experience.
• An active RN License.
• ACLS, BLS & PALS Certifications.
• Current certification in TNCC preferred.
