Job description
Registered Nurse (RN) position in Long Term Care near Columbus, Nebraska.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As an RN in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and services to residents in a compassionate and professional manner. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and provide care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Assessing residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and progress
- Communicating with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals
- Supervising and directing the work of nursing assistants and other staff members
- Providing emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a Registered Nurse with a valid and active license in the state of Nebraska
- Have a current CPR Certification
- Possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and portray a positive image
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Have a passion for excellence and a desire to make a difference in the lives of people
