Registered Nurse: Shall have and maintain a license as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon and shall perform all duties within facility policy and in accordance with the Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses in the State of Oregon in the delivery of Comprehensive Health nursing services. Our client CareOregon requires temporary staffing for primary, palliative, and hospice care to homebound patients.

The RN shall:

a. Conduct routine assessments within the RN scope of practice.

b. Administer medications, including but not limited to: subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, oral, transcutaneous, rectal, intravenous, and topical forms.

c. Assess individuals for potential reactions to medications and escalate concerns to the next level care Provider.

d. Provide Nursing Assessment on admission. This includes, but is not limited to: the initial nursing assessment, health history, risk assessment and routine laboratory studies as indicated for directed and per facility policy.

e. Provide Health Education on a One-to-One (Nurse to Individual) basis.

f. Evaluate and document the effectiveness of the Nursing Care Plan.

g. Participate in/lead individual treatment groups where determined applicable by the facility.

h. Interface with community based mental health providers, hospitals, and other agencies to promote continuation of an individual’s care, including transfer, bed information, and acceptance/approval for admission to the facility.

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
