Position Summary

As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' expectations are not only met but exceeded. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our customers, addressing any concerns they may have and promptly resolving any issues related to our products or installations. Your focus on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction will help foster long-term relationships with our clientele, reinforcing our reputation as the premier provider of cabinet and millwork solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service standards, going above and beyond for our customers.
  • Greet clients with a warm and friendly demeanor, actively listen to their needs, and ensure their concerns are thoroughly understood and addressed.
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when handling customer inquiries, complaints, or issues.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations at every interaction, making them feel valued and appreciated throughout their experience with our company.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess and diagnose any service-related problems reported by customers.
  • Utilize your expertise in cabinets and millwork to identify root causes and develop effective solutions to address technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the production team, installers, and other relevant departments to coordinate timely and satisfactory resolutions for customer concerns.
  • Keep detailed records of service calls, including actions taken, materials used, and any follow-up required.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our cabinet and millwork products, installation techniques, and maintenance requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions to our customers.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations to customers regarding product features, warranties, and care instructions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations or training sessions for customers as needed.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain effective communication channels with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of service requests.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to relay customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in cabinetmaking, millwork, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of cabinet and millwork construction, installation, and repair techniques preferred, but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for documentation, communication, and scheduling.
