CornerStone Staffing is seeking a Furniture maintenance/repair Tech for a high end furniture distribution center in Tracy, CA. The tech will be responsible for repairs, restoration, assessing products for damages in the facility; repair different furniture materials, such as leather, fabric, and hardwood, as well as furniture assembly and repair services in the hub/Final Mile Operation.

• Temp to Perm
• Schedule: Tuesday –Saturday
• Shift: 1st, 4:30am – 1pm, must be open to OT during busy season
• Pay rate: $24/hr

Duties include

• Team effort, communication, understanding and completing of all packing materials
• Assisting in packing orders, maintaining work areas clean and organized
• Responsible for maintaining materials and supplies on the production line to help in packing
• Scan, print packing labels and place correct label on product
• Assisting in receiving when needed
• Staging furniture in shipping area
• Maintaining production workers stocked with needed materials

Qualification

• At least 1 year of experience as a furniture repair technician
• Previous experience with upholstery
• Read and understand production tickets
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements are met
• Maintain accurate records
• Follow documented standards and procedures
• Frequently lift and push objects weighing up to 50 lbs or more
• Excellent time management skills, including ability to work independently with little supervision
• Stand, bend or twist as required in order to complete the job
• Must be able to read a tape measure and possess accurate depth perception for determining the shape of the parts

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

• Tracy, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
