As the Reservationist, you are the first point of contact for our guests and responsible for establishing an experience that exceeds the guest expectations of a standard restaurant reservation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and assistance with general inquiries and reservations
• Take reservations efficiently and effectively maximizing reservation capacities
• Have a warm and welcoming phone manner
• Anticipate and service the guest?s needs before requests are made
• Respond to all guest reservation requests and always execute prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Always ensure adequate cover of the reservation?s office
• Ensure all guests receive a positive and professional impression of the restaurant
• Arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual

Requirements

• Previous upscale, high-volume restaurant experience a plus
• Ability to comprehend and use computerized reservation system; OpenTable knowledge a plus
• A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and be able to work well under pressure.
• Possess great communication and organizational skills.
• English & Spanish preferred
• Can work on own as well as part of a team
• Able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
• Ability to follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the business; willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
