Hudson's Grill, one of El Paso's iconic East Side restaurants, is looking for a manager. We are looking for a person that takes responsibility for the overall success of the business that they are in charge of. They have a range of duties, including administrative, leadership and practical tasks. The main function is to ensure that they serve and run the restaurant efficiently and that the customer has the best possible experience. They are also responsible for the success and development of the staff. Their main duties and responsibilities include:

• Leading a small team of restaurant/bar staff by example, pitching in to help with drink mixing, table service, and kitchen service where necessary
• Ensuring that the front-of-house is fully staffed, particularly during peak times
• Meeting sales and profitability targets
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Ensuring consistent, high quality beverages and food are served to customers
• Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints
• Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development
• Monitoring inventory of food and beverages to ensure adequate stock
• Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical restaurant and bar area and paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations
• Changing televisions, lighting, music, air conditioning, and other factors that build the ambiance and atmosphere of Hudson's Grill.

About Hudson's Bar & Grill

Many a Hudson traveled to the local diner for a burger after the Friday night football game, or to the drug store soda fountain before the Saturday afternoon matinee. During the week, more were parked at the corner grill in the town square, their owners having a salad or a chicken fried steak at lunch.
