Job description
- Provide welcoming and customized service to each of our guests.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu to explain offerings to guests and provide information to help the guest make food and beverage selections.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side-work to set up success for daily operations.
- Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting the menu; offering cocktails, suggesting courses; explaining the chef’s specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
- Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guest choices; identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting the timing of meal progression.
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering guest choices from the bar and kitchen. Delivers accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
- Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring about needs; observing the dining process.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needs.
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return.
- Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bills; accepting payments; delivering bills and payments to the host person; returning change or credit card and signature slips to guests.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Lift to 20 lbs., stand and/or walk for long periods
