Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Boasting a new hospital in 2011, AMH has a 24-hour emergency room, which is staffed by ER physicians and designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. The hospital serves over 12,000 patients annually. AMH treats over 7,000 emergencies each year including heart attack and stroke patients. The hospital has four admitting physicians including three employed physicians and a contractor. Additionally, AMH operates a full-service clinic on campus, which as 15 exam rooms, two physicians, and three nurse practitioners. Clinic hours are 7am to 7pm, Monday to Thursday and 7am to 5pm on Friday. The hospital is supported by a one cent county sales tax.Responsible to develop, plan, organize and implement current and future strategies to improve revenue cycle performance. Lead and direct all revenue cycle functions including but not limited to registration, pre-cert/pre-authorization, insurance verification, documentation completion and improvement, timely change entry, coding, denial reduction and customer service. Director has direct responsibility for Registration, Billing, Coding and Health Information Management working closely with all departments in the hospital.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in health care administration, business or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years progressive experience in health care management such as clinic management, patient access or HIM management, or billing office management.
Other: Strong background in financial management and knowledge of federal and state laws and requirements related to healthcare management.
