The Purpose:

The RN Assistant Director of Nursing assists with the management of the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.

· Assign and direct work of subordinates; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services

· Provide ongoing training, supervision, and monitoring of team members

· Provide training and education to resident care employees on an ongoing basis with classroom in-services, and situation-specific training.

· Eligible to participate in Touchstone's ADON Bonus Plan

Why are we excited about meeting you?

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN License in TX

· Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing with strong leadership skills required. Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred.
