Job Title: RN Emergency Department Observation
Location: Rochester, NY (USA)
Blended rate: $3600/Wk
Stipend - $1281/wk
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Emergency Department Observation unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care and support to individuals who require observation in the Emergency Department before being discharged or admitted to the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor patients in the Emergency Department Observation unit
- Assess patients’ needs and provide appropriate interventions
- Administer and monitor medications as prescribed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Document all patient care in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in the discharge process of patients
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department Observation unit
- BLS Certification
