Right at Home is seeking an experienced Healthcare representative to fill the role of a Sales and Marketing Executive who will be responsible for promoting sales and creating a positive identity for our home care offices in Bergen County and Passaic County through promotional marketing material and personal visits. We are seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial individual who understands the importance of relationships and knows how to build them. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years sales or senior advisor experience, preferably in home care. Knowledge of the geographic area, prior home care experience, and established relationships in the area are strongly preferred. The core competencies for an Outside Sales and Marketing Representative are: Verbal Communication, Organization, Listening, Likability. Tenacity, Energy, and Inspirational/Influential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

VERBAL COMMUNICATION

  • Communicates effectively 1:1 and in group settings with potential clients, social workers, geriatric care managers, physicians, assisted living communities, independent living communities, memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, elder care attorneys, and network with other community resources in order to develop strong relationships and referral sources.
  • Easily articulates the visions and standards.
  • Keeps team and referral sources informed.
  • Communicates information clearly with the team.

ORGANIZATION

  • Pre-plans weekly sales activities.
  • Categorizes referral sources by type.
  • Maintains all sales activity and enters referrals and referral sources in CRM database.
  • Maximizes efficiency and cost effectiveness in daily activities.
  • Maintains up-to-date competitive charges and daily rates

LISTENING

  • Tunes in to the opinions, feelings, and needs of people.
  • Understands the impact of one's behavior on others and is patient and empathetic.
  • Let's others speak and actively listens to address specific needs.

  • Proposes services and institutes contractual agreements with clients.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, results driven, and able to develop and build strong, lasting relationships. Excellent planning, detail-oriented and presentation skills are critical. Recent healthcare marketing or sales experience is required. The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and be able to readily network in the community.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES/AVAILABILITY:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years recent sales or relationship building experience in the health care industry (Preferably, Home Care, Hospice, DME, ALF, SNF, Care management, Sales experience)
  • Excellent English oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and telephone skills
  • Basic office and computer skills
  • Evidence of achieving referral goals within the market
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
