Our majestic Business Development Center is the key ingredient for success in the seven-layer salad we call our Sales Department — and we are seeking a couple of driven individuals to join our growing horde!
In this role, you’ll expertly navigate the sunny seas of communication between our customers and in-store sales teams to provide the best car buying experience in these venerated United States.
Let's talk about responsibilities:
- Quickly respond to internet, phone, live chat, and even carrier-pigeon inquiries a potential or returning customer might have through phone, email, text, Facebook Messenger, etc, so knowledge of these formats is a definite must.
- Assist customers who call in with vehicle needs and answer beginning stage questions. You will not need to know everything about every vehicle but assist when you can and be unafraid to ask for assistance when needed.
- Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership based on their requests.
- Schedule appointments for customers to swing in and speak to the experts.
- Present initial vehicle options based on in stock vehicle selection.
- Establish relationships with customers that are not yet prepared to make an appointment or are in the very early stages of their purchase.
- Have a blast participating in team and process development sessions - building positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management.
- Utilize our CRM system and treasure trove of data to gather decision-making reports used around the entire company.
- Support all McGrath Sales Departments in Eastern Iowa and route the customer to the person best suited to assist them.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification's:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months in Customer Service related field.
- Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactory.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
