Sales Consultant

Are you an expert at the home building process? Do you love to work with homeowners to help them realize their dreams for their homes? Platt Builders is an award-winning residential renovation company based in Groton, MA. We work with clients all throughout MetroWest/Middlesex County. We are looking for a project manager who loves to work with customers and give them the personal attention that they deserve.

The Opportunity:

• Build topline company revenues.
• Meet with clients to determine scope of project.
• Estimate and package project to present to client.
• Qualify client as to budget and time constraints.
• Maintain regular client contact for duration of the projects.
• Continually develop and sustain community and industry relationships.
• Develop and sustain Architect/designer relations.
• Track clients, track leads and attend networking events.

What we need:

• Must possess a deep understanding of the construction/home renovation process; must possess a good understanding of all trades relevant to residential construction.
• Previous project management or design experience: 10+ years a plus.
• Extensive computer experience and aptitude and willingness to learn new programs.
• Strong sense of customer service and excellent industry specific problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Must be comfortable talking about money with client.
• Willingness to continually study the art of sales.
• Strong communication, job coordination, organizational, leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to interact and communicate well with the client throughout the job.
