Bosch Chassis Systems Control Division develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety and vehicle dynamics. Active safety systems recognize hazardous driving situations and guide the vehicle dynamics in a targeted manner to restore the stability of the vehicle. If an accident is unavoidable, passive safety systems provide protection for vehicle occupants as well as pedestrians and reduce the risk of injury. Our competence lies in the networking of active and passive safety systems, and thereby we realize new dimensions in safety, comfort and agility.


Job Description
  • Interface between Ford & Bosch to understand customer expectations and requirements and maintain good customer relationship
  • Achieve the sales and profit target in BP for his/her project(s)
  • Manages category C/D acquisitions, quotation updates, change offers (moderate risk, moderate complexity)
  • Supports Project Management in customer negotiation about Tooling, Logistic, Packaging
  • Define acquisition & pricing strategy for specific OEM sourcing (medium sized & complex acquisitions)
  • Negotiates customer and tier-x contracts (e.g. terms and conditions, Raw Material Impact, prices)
  • Identify customer requirements and collect competitor information
  • Obtain required releases and signatures
  • Prepare customer quote letter
  • Manages price negotiations and closure within released "bottom line" (product price, application costs, tooling, logistics, samples etc.)
  • Achieve common agreements in conflict situations and drive escalations in own area of responsibility
  • Leads yearly price negotiations
  • Clarifies Sales Business Frame with Product Group/Team

Qualifications


Basic:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management
  • 7+ years of automotive industry experience

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Chassis Controls products and systems
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems and architectures
  • Customer oriented, loves to be at the customer and speak the customer language
  • Leadership skills (capable to delegate appropriately, likes to coach, empower and develop people)
  • Team oriented working style
  • Proven track record in negotiating solutions
  • Social persuasion/empathy
  • Target oriented and self-motivated
  • Good communication skills
  • Maintains composure under pressure
  • Committed to excellence and high quality of work

  • German language skills
