Job description
Momentum Textiles & Wallcovering, a leading supplier and distributor of contract textiles and wallcovering is seeking a full time Picker/Packer/Sample Order Filler in Greensboro, NC. The working hours are M-F 9:30am-6:30pm. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a solid work ethic, and strong organizational skills.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To perform all manual and clerical tasks associated with the sample pulling process and to perform additional tasks as needed to meet business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 Years in order picking and/or warehouse experience
- Live in Greensboro or surrounding areas
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Accurately fill/pick sample orders from stock.
- Process paperwork, pack, seal and label samples for shipment.
- Assemble sample items into coordinated presentation media, such as binders and chain sets.
- Keep inventory refreshed, stocked, and maintain accurate counts in computer system.
- Process priority orders in the system.
- Meet quality and productivity measures.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Clean and sweep work area and remove trash regularly.
- Work as part of a team by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is required to walk most of the day.
