  • Operate a first class Service Facility consistent with Whitsons' standards
  • Achieve total satisfaction by ensuring that every phase of the operation is clean and passes per op inspection and that all facility operations are running properly.
  • Control expense categories, labor cost, cleaning and paper supplies. To accomplish this you will have to use Sage X3 software. Whitsons corporate will help; but ultimately it is up to you, the Manager, to properly challenge and develop your staff to reach the highest level of service and performance, thereby distinguishing your operation.
  • Maintain and complete all daily, weekly, monthly sanitation logs, by following pre-determined schedules which is created and or manager by you
  • Maintain systems and procedures for the facility, grounds, plant sanitation, office cleaning and all other related responsibilities.
  • Motivates, trains, and manages hourly employees..
  • Responsible for accounting and documenting accurately all financial components of related expenditures.
  • Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met and staff trained.
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally, electronically and written with upper management and team in professional manner.
  • Conducts recurring inventory; maintaining records to comply with Whitsons, government and accrediting agency standards.
  • Coordinates activities with other internal departments, participates in management team meetings
  • Oversee all ground cleaning operations.
  • Responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas
  • Responsible for consistently maintaining safe and quality good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements
  • Responsible for inventory and storing of all sanitation supplies
  • Schedules major cleanup projects with production supervisors
  • Monitors staffing to reduce costs and increase efficiencies whenever possible.
  • Manages the preparation and execution of sanitation audits.
  • Evaluate associate performance and develop, in conjunction with associate's plans, to challenge their potential. Provide growth and develop opportunities for associates to fill internal staffing needs
  • Maintain a high performing team environment, able to resolve associate relations issues. Responsible for hiring, training, retraining. Create a self-managed team that is able to work with a minimum degree of guidance from the Site Manager.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required Sit, walk, talk and hear
  • Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Requirements:

Other Qualifications, Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in Facilities Sanitation Management required.
  • Working knowledge of building maintenance and facility upkeep.
