We are a leading Healthcare and Technology firm who works with Health plans and Government agencies on a wide array of staffing, call center, medical coding, and administrative support services. Our Medical Teams work closely with several correctional facilities in the area, providing guidance, and training to on-site medical staff. School Support Specialist sought by CHIRP and Consulting Services, LLC for contract opportunities in Columbus, Ohio. Candidates must have excellent thinking and communication skills. Must behave as cause-driven leader and role model for other staff and members when it comes to desired staff behaviors; promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in all job-related functions. Actively monitor professional development goals and annually required hours. Supervise and implement the program in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and the policies and philosophy of the vendor. Completes duties as required by the Child and Adult Care Food program. Maintain prompt hours, follows procedures for absences, and ensure teaching team is aware of activities and roles and responsibilities in case of absence. May be assigned additional duties based upon program needs and areas of developing expertise.

Duties include:

• Responsible for the planning and implementation of Social, Emotional Learning programming during the school day and after school within assigned school.
• Work closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with school personnel and administration, students, families and other organizations and agencies related to the SELS Project.
• Maintain licensing rules/standards, keep written student records, and collect data and provide reports as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education related Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Available to work between 9am-6pm
