Collections Assistant Position Summary:
- Responsible for the collection of past-due invoices for Tovar Snow Professionals
Collection Assistant Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a list of customers that you will be assigned to your workload
- Confirm Customer Contact Information including contact name, number, address, and payment terms are consistent in various systems
- Contact customers when invoices become past-due and enter updated notes on account
- Alternate communication between email and phone call
- Update master spreadsheet with status of overdue invoices and next steps to resolution
- Reach out to internal teams for assistance, when necessary
- Meet with Collections Manager and provide updates of high-risk customers and strategies for collections
- Attend regular meetings with Operations Team to discuss challenging customers
- Assist Cash App with questions on the application of payments, when requested
- Assist customer with questions re: VersaPay system
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Associate Degree preferred
- Customer Service skills needed
- Previous B2B collection experience preferred
- Strong organizational, detail, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Customer-focused individual, team player with can-do attitude
Hours:
- Remote Position
- Hourly Position
- Part-Time Hours – between 25-40 hours per week, depending on workload
