This is an entry level team lead position with much potential for growth and opportunity. This seasonal position could be a segue into a full time, year round position. The right candidate will possess the ability to work well with others. Collaboration, delegation, and problem solving skills are key.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to...
- Be able to appropriately handle complaints and/or problems in a positive, and professional manner.
- Facilitating communication between the FOH and BOH by relaying when certain dishes or ingredients have run out, passing food requests from the waitstaff to the kitchen, calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the waitstaff to serve completed dishes.
- Responsible for bank drop, balancing drawer, discounts/voids, and handling tip outs to staff.
- Miscellaneous day to day operations such as opening or closing of restaurant.
- Referencing open table and reservations to ensure restaurant is properly prepped and staffed for shift.
- Ensuring that daily responsibilities are completed by FOH employees.
- Motivate and inspire the team towards success and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be 21 years or older.
- Preferred 2+ years of pervious restaurant experience.
- Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy restaurant/kitchen.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Enjoys and works well with being part of a team.
