• Rate: $15.46 - $15.96 / hour

Overview:

• Del-Co Water is seeking a seasonal landscape employee to join our team during the peak season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, an eye for detail, and some experience in maintaining and improving landscapes.

Essential Duties

• Trims, prunes, and removes trees, bushes, shrubs, and hedges.
• Lays mulch and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs.
• Applies fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
• Empties and removes trash and debris.
• Performs power washing and window cleaning.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features to identify, minimize and correct hazardous conditions or liability concerns.
• On occasion, mows lawns, trims weeds, edges walkways.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• General understanding of landscaping techniques and tools.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and frequently required to stoop, kneel, climb, balance, crouch, or crawl.
• Repetitive movements of hands and fingers.
• Frequently required to reach with arms.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
