As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Personal Grooming standards: Security professionals shall be responsible to maintain clean hygiene and properly clean and care for his/her uniform.

• Female Employees:
• On-duty uniformed female employees must have a clean, neatly styled hair or wigs of natural color. Female employees shall arrange their hair so that it does not extend below the bottom edge of the collar. Hair shall not be left hanging down in a ponytail hairstyle, for safety reasons. Hair can be neatly pinned up in a bun or twist as long as it remains off of the collar.
• Makeup: Facial cosmetics, perfumes and colognes are prohibited. Facial products shall be of natural color. False eyelashes are prohibited.
• Male employees:
• On-duty uniformed male employees shall keep their hair properly trimmed. The hair shall be neatly tapered, shall not touch the top of the shirt collar nor cover any portion of the ear, or interfere with vision in any way.
• Sideburns: Sideburns shall not exceed beyond a point even with the middle of the ear lobe and shall extend in a clean-shaven, horizontal line.
• Mustaches: A short and neatly trimmed mustache of natural color may be worn. Such facial hair must be neatly trimmed and conform to the face.
• Fingernails: Officersa fingernails shall not exceed more than 1/8 inch from the tip of the finger or interfere in any way in the performance of assigned duties. Approved nail polish colors include clear, nude, and French.
• Ornamentation: A wedding or engagement ring is appropriate, shall not exceed one ring per hand. No abody piercinga through the nose, tongue, eyebrows, nor any visible area not concealed by a regulation uniform may be worn while on duty. Male officers are prohibited from wearing earrings while on duty. Females are allowed 1 earring stud per earlobe and must be a gold, white gold, silver, pearl, or diamond and must not exceed 1/8 inch. One watch is also permissible.
• Tattoos and branding: Tattoos or brands anywhere visible while in uniform are prohibited. Security Officers with visible tattoos or art will be provided and required to wear a long-sleeve uniform shirt.
• Shoes: Only approved authorized footwear can be worn. Any temporary footwear must be approved by Site leadership prior to being warn.
• Eyewear: Eyeglasses must be in good condition and professional in nature. Gold, silver, black, brown, or grey frames are the only colors permissible. Contact lenses of unnatural color are prohibited.
• Appropriate disciplinary action:
• Allied Security reserves the right to start at any disciplinary step, repeat a disciplinary step or proceed to immediate termination.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
