Opportunity Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for organizing and executing client assignments and projects, while acting as the client contact for basic questions and information. Additionally, you will coach, advise, and direct team members in meeting client, and engagement expectations. This role will provide for the opportunity to further develop organizational and supervisory skills, to commence review and evaluate fieldwork, while beginning to take an active role in working directly with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Manages overall responsibility for completion of fieldwork on engagements
- Can evaluate the clients’ overall business operation and apply knowledge in audit work
- Assist in client follow-up to ensure expectations were met
- Effective communication with client, partner, and all other team members
- Demonstrates ability to bring jobs to conclusion effectively and efficiently
- Delegates as appropriate to others and takes responsibility for completion of work
- Actively participates in training including on the spot feedback and engagement evaluations
- Identifies engagement issues that cause inefficiencies or risks to engagement quality
- Begins to develop a command of FASB, GAAP, OCBOA, and other unique or specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentation
- Adhere to professional standards consistent with AICPA and maintain client confidentiality
Special Requirements:
- Ability to work overtime throughout the year, during peak times of the year
- Ability to travel out of town for client engagements, meetings, seminars and trainings
- Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting or related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years work experience within public accounting
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Interest in pursuing CPA certification desired, but not a requirement
