How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Senior Analyst, Pre- Employment will act as POC for prescreening questions or status from candidates, recruiters, and coordinators.
  • Initiate identified Pre employment activities applicable for internal and external hires
  • Ensure accurate timing and shepherding of candidates through process
  • Review prescreening results for completion and accuracy
  • Compile recommendation and information necessary to clear education and employment histories as necessary
  • Act as liaison with third party vendors as necessary
  • Compile information necessary for any adjudication decisions
  • Audit prescreening activities against guidelines
  • Monitors results for USPS, PAT, A&P and DOT/Non-DOT.
  • Receive/Review, coordinate revisions to and submissions of post-hire certification or application processes, including USPS, DOT Clearances and A &P Licensure verifications
  • Works w/Iron Mountain to arrange pick up of prepared records as well as retrieval of stored records when requested by EO, Legal and other approved entities.
  • Heavy document filing that includes preparing documents for records retention including IM for non-hire applicants and ODM for hired applicants
  • Coordinate document storage for all hiring activity, including PRIA
  • Audits document retention activities against guidelines

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • A minimum of a bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field of study or equivalent related work experience.
  • Should be able to comprehend and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Should be able to analyze problems and form logical conclusions appropriate to regulatory guidelines, as well as company policy.
  • Sufficiently organized to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Should understand and be able to communicate how Delta's day-to-day operations are impacted by compliance/regulatory requirements.
  • Make sound decisions based upon an analysis of the facts, experience with the subject matter, and good judgment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to preemployment screenings.
  • Make quality decisions in the absence of complete information.
  • Effectively handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Successful candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with employees and representatives of external entities.
  • Able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Able to use software applications and systems required to perform the functions of this position.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
  • Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
  • Intermediate level-Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems
