Senior Billing Specialist

Summary:

Taylor Commercial Foodservice LLC. (Taylor Company) is seeking an experienced billing specialist to join our established accounting team. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working within established guidelines, as well as possess the ability to perform ad hoc analyses. This person should be enthusiastic and willing to roll up their sleeves and work with others in an upbeat, collaborative fashion.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Process daily equipment billing

· Price and apply equipment warranties and service contracts

· Process miscellaneous debit/credit application

· Maintain price list and validate billing amounts

· Miscellaneous filing of printed documents

· Review various process exception reports and investigate as needed

Knowledge and Skills:

· Ability to seek out and identify continuous improvement initiatives

· Solid organization and time-management skills, including the ability to balance and advance competing priorities

· Thrives in a complex, fast-pace environment that offers continuous learning opportunities

· Detail oriented and capable of reviewing data to find variances, trends, and errors

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; speaks and writes in a clear, concise, grammatically correct, and professional manner

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or 4-year university equivalent preferred

· 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing industry

· Billing application experience

· Familiarity (or willingness to learn) with working in Infor™ environment

· Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills

· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; intermediate in Excel

· Self-motivated, multi-tasking team placer, able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while staying organized and meeting deadlines.

· Good math skills and attention to detail
