Must Haves: 5+ yrs of AWS Admin, recent hands-on experience with AWS cloud native and containerization services, Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), ServiceNow, Jenkins, strong troubleshooting skills. Strong preference for Shell scripting (UNIX, PowerShell). Preference for logging and monitoring preference for ELK. Preference for istio/TSB.

***Candidates with Capital One experience in McLean VA, followed by any Capital One, Fannie Mae, or Freddie Mac experience will be considered first.***

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
• History of contributing to deployments and troubleshooting technical issues in an engineering role.
• Knowledge of Cloud, software development life cycles, Agile/Scrum
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT
• 5+ years’ experience in AWS platform support.
• Demonstrable experience with
• Jenkins, Jira, Git and Artifactory, ServiceNow
• Scripting languages (e.g., UNIX Shell / Powershell / Perl / Python / Ruby)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, and creative individual
• Experience with the following are differentiators:
- EKS
- UNIX
- Troubleshooting
• Education
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience(required)
