About Continental General

The Continental Insurance family of companies has provided Long Term Care Insurance to individuals and groups for over 30 years and currently provides Long Term Care coverage to approximately 55,000 lives. Continental Insurance, Inc. is primarily focused on managing the Long Term Care Insurance portfolio of its insurance company subsidiaries and pursuing opportunities to expand its Long Term Care Insurance portfolio through acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

The Position:

    • Hands on experience with enterprise content management tools such as OnBase, SmartCOMM and SmartIQ. OnBase and SmartCOMM experience is highly preferred.
    • AWS/cloud experience is highly beneficial.
    • Responsible for the full project lifecycle, including the design, development, testing, and implementation, of business applications and enterprise processes.
    • Utilizes excellent knowledge of enterprise applications and technical tools to create and implement complex business efficiencies.
    • Ability to design and modify complex workflow process flows to satisfy business end user requirements.
    • Experience designing, configuring and managing correspondence/letter templates.
    • Provides technical support and incident management to business end users.
    • Performs system troubleshooting including identifying root cause and providing remediation for incidents that occur in system processing.
    • Consults and collaborates with business end users, other IT professionals or vendors to resolve issues with applications.
    • Ability to evaluate business needs and elicit system requirements from business end users.
    • Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines.
    • Leads moderate/highly complex projects.
    • Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to enterprise systems.
    • Defines technical and process standards.
    • Follows design best practices to deliver quality solutions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
