QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Senior Logistician (Specialist) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN).

Duties:

  • Maintain responsibility for life cycle management of mission network equipment, including technical manual validation and verification, provisioning processing and analysis, configuration management, new equipment fielding, and maintenance issues.
  • Apply knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of IPS functions to the extent that the employee is responsible for most or all of the logistics elements (i.e. maintenance planning: manpower and personnel; supply support: support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and facilities) for one or more acquisition programs.
  • Resolve highly complex logistics problems that impact equipment or systems impacting or involving large geographical areas.
  • Develop, initiate, and oversee the implementation of significant corrective actions, new programs, major program enhancements, and important policy changes.
  • Assist Army units with logistics and maintenance issues regarding the assigned system's readiness, support mission network units, and assist the units with planning and executing their logistics and maintenance activities.
  • Represent the program at functional meetings, as required.
  • Support elements including maintenance planning, manpower and personnel, supply support, test equipment, training devices, technical data, computer resources, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and facilities.
  • Work with technical writers and provisioners on developing Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC), organize the validation and verification of technical manuals, and develop Integrated Support Plans.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with the DoD; Army preferred.
  • Works well within team environments but can accomplish tasks individually as needed.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with the DoD required; Army preferred.

Travel:

Less than 25% travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

  • Be independently mobile.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
