Job Description:
This position requires an advanced degree in Applied Mechanics or Engineering Mechanics. Also, a minimum of 10 years experience in the development of Analytical Methods and Experimental Techniques in: Structural Mechanics, Experimental Dynamics, and System Identification. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
Applied mechanics
Applied mathematics
Finite element methods
Experimental Mechanics, Modal Analysis & Test Methods
Measurement Methods, Signals Acquisition & Data Analysis
Environmental Loads Design & Testing Criteria
Computer methods and classical engineering mechanics analysis
Planning and execution of experimental research projects
A PE license (in any state) is also desired.
