Job description

he Restaurant Server is a full time seasonal tipped position andis responsible for handling face-to-face contact with the restaurant guests. They are directly responsible for taking all meal and beverage orders and serving the requested items to restaurant and hotel guests. On occasion they will be serving room service orders to the hotel guest rooms. They are assisted by bussers and runners, but they are ultimately responsible for the service and cleaning of their assigned tables and sections.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to safe food handling and storage.
• Offer friendly and warm greetings to all restaurant and hotel guests.
• Promptly take drink and food orders from their assigned tables or sections.
• Correctly enter the guests? orders into the selected point of sale system.
• Provide world-class guest service by ensuring all drink and food orders are efficiently served to the table and checking with the guests that their orders are correct; make any necessary corrections as quickly as possible.
• Remove soiled plates, glassware, and silverware from assigned tables and sections as the guest finishes their drinks and meals.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning and side work assignments and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in all venues as directed.
• Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5.26 per hour

• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Restaurant serving: 3 years (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
