Position Title: Sales Service Representative

Department: Sales

Directly Reports To: Sales Service Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Service Representative is the key point of contact delivering superior service and support for both internal and external Customers primarily in the Industrial Products with emphasis on Graphics products. This position is responsible for 100% customer satisfaction, supporting sales revenue goals as well as market share targets.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure Customer satisfaction through ease of doing business with KTP, on time shipments, responsiveness and communicating accurately, timely and proactively
  • Lead communications internally with manufacturing, planning, accounting, product and sales management
  • Utilize current systems and processes to convey accurate and reliable information to customers and sales personnel
  • Acts as advocate for teamwork in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
  • Engage and provide input actively in processes and procedures
  • Supply all required, relevant information to Customers, sales team and other stakeholders
  • Follow-up on all action plans defined by sales territories
  • Build customer relationships
  • Initiate sales orders and changes at the customer and/or salesperson’s request
  • Verify purchase orders for accuracy
  • Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner regarding product availability for assigned product lines
  • Obtain customer specifications and other necessary information to process Customer orders
  • Monitor progress of job orders through production relaying information to internal and external resources when necessary and according to Customer requirements and company standards
  • Maintain accurate filing of invoices, work orders, purchase orders, pricing and other documents of importance
  • Assist and cover team members during high volume or absences
  • Identify system or process issues and recommend continuous improvements
  • Promote new products through effective communication with current and prospective Customers

Experience and Education

  • Associate’s degree with a minimum of two years’ experience
  • Proficiency in MS Window’s applications
  • Experience in Order Entry software applications
  • Strong math skills
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Experience with modern order entry software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

  • Huntersville, NC 28078: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
  • SAP ERP: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
