phia is hiring an Application Developer & Support Engineer who is familiar with all aspects of ServiceNow. This customer has locations in Morrisville, NC, Merrifield, VA and Eagan, MN with remote capability. All candidates must reside within the United States and be U.S. Citizens.
This support contract provides a broad range of cyber services to all components under the CISO including cyber operations, cyber risk, security engineering and digital integration departments. The client’s enterprise consists of over 600,000 employees, 500,000 devices, 200,000 enterprise email accounts, 200,000 endpoints, 800 firewall sets, and 640+ URLs of which 350 require web application firewall protection.
What You'll Do
- Integrate hardware and software asset information into ServiceNow CMDB
- Support the application including defect remediation and break/fix
- Support ongoing issues with ServiceNow and CMDB
- Support platform performance optimization and upgrade activities
- Develop automation workflow within ServiceNow
- Develop application portals and dashboards within the ServiceNow portal.
- Will be required to track and report status across the organization within multiple workstreams to inform various audiences
Education + Requirements
- 3+ years ServiceNow Development experience
- Familiarity with all areas of ServiceNow
- Ability to integrate hardware and software asset information into ServiceNow CMDB from numerous applications.
- Ability to develop automation workflow with in ServiceNow for anything from open API integration to email generation for user notification.
- Ability to develop application portals and dashboards with in the ServiceNow portal
- Experience effectively tracking status across an organization with multiple workstreams.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript
- Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Advanced problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient organization and time management skills
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow - Certified Systems Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist
- Security – CISSP, CEH, CISA, GIAC, CISM, RHCE, CPTE
Bonus if You Have
- A bachelor’s degree in IT/Cybersecurity or 4 years or more of experience
- Any Certification In Security and/or ServiceNow
- Background/knowledge Hardware and Software Asset Discovery
- Familiarity with at minimum the San Diego version
