Job description
JOB SUMMARY
Supervise daily activities of team warehouse workers to ensure safe and efficient inbound, outbound and/or, storage functions are met.
The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate movement and handling of incoming and outgoing inventory and associated documentation
- Maintain high level of safety during shift
- Maintain complete inter shift communications
- Act as liaison for regular communication among shifts
- Supervise inventory tagging program
- Communicate with Processing and Traffic Managers as required
DUTIES
- Coordinate documentation of pertinent inventory information as required.
- Research if necessary any inventory issues
- Coordinate work order and other paperwork flow as required
- Interact with sale department as required
- Contribute to annual employee performance reviews for department personnel
- Coordinate and communicate with Truck Drivers as necessary
- Shift times vary quarterly, rotating between 1st and 2nd shifts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Hight School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2-5 Years industrial material handling required
