Communicare is a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi that serves Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate and Yalobusha counties. Communicare offers specialized treatment services for adults with serious mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbances, individuals with substance abuse disorders and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Communicare is currently seeking 9 Shift Support personnel at Sunflower Landing in Tutwiler, MS .

Communicare is currently seeking 9 Shift Support personnel at Sunflower Landing in Tutwiler, MS .
Responsibilities:
- Assist in general activities of the program.
- Provide direct care and supervision to clients.
- Facilitate recreational activities, including transporting clients as appropriate.
- Help ensure a safe living environment for all clients.
- Assist with management of unstructured time.
- Help enforce program guidelines, including keeping all clients on a predetermined schedule provided by management and/or their therapist.
- Notify management and secure appropriate medical treatment in cases of emergency.
- Keep records as assigned, such as behavior reports.
- Supervise and assist clients with daily living skills as needed, such as, but not limited to cooking, laundry, and chores.
- Perform monthly fire drills.
- Screen and monitor all visitors to the facility.
- Answer phone calls when needed and route those calls to the appropriate individual.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school or equivalent.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to relate positively to Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation clients and their families.
- Valid Mississippi driver’s license, personal auto liability insurance, and insurable driving record (if required - discretionary)
- Complete and maintain all required training from the agency and regulatory outside agencies.
- Acceptable criminal background check.
