Job description
Do you want to work for a World Class Artist Materials Manufacturer?
- Load/unload products onto and from trucks;
- review/complete documents; print shipping labels;
- perform cycle counts and inventory control; pick, pack, and label orders;
- check for quantities and quality;
- process orders;
- record identifying information;
- conduct inspection of products, orders, etc.;
- inform others of damages or shortages; complete required paperwork.
- This position will be HAZMAT trained, will have knowledge of shipping requirements for all GOLDEN products, and be trained on order pickers, wave machines, pallet jack, ride-on pallet jack, and the scanning system.
Education Required:
High School Diploma with additional computer training, or equivalent

Picking, packing, shipping, receiving and general warehouse work
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing/walking on concrete surface. Intermittent periods of brief sitting is possible. Ergonomic matting is present where prolonged standing occurs.
- Frequent stair/ladder climbing to access higher shelves.
- Constant reaching with bilateral upper extremities ranging from below torso height to shoulder height and overhead.
- Occasional to frequent bending.
- Occasional to frequent squatting.
- Constant grasping/pinching/fingering and fine motor manipulation, including use of tapers, peeling labels, and light keyboarding.
- Frequent light to moderate pushing and pulling, including carts, hand jacks, and product. Ability to generate up to 40-50 pounds of force.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds from floor to waist (36 inches).
- Occasional lifting/transferring (waist to waist or floor to waist) of 5 gallon containers (up to 62 lbs.)
- Intermittent lifting of 5 gallon pails weighing up to 75 pounds from floor to waist.
- Constant lifting of 1-10 pounds. Objects are obtained from shelves at heights of 4 inches to 6 feet 8 inches and are placed in bins located on carts 38 inches high.
- Good visual acuity.
- Auditory acuity to communicate with co-workers and monitor busy work environment.
- Occasional lifting of completed rack assemblies in boxes approximately 2 x 3 ft. tall (30-50 lbs.).
