Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Site Administrative Assistant. This role is based out of Franksville, WI.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $48,750 - $71,500 a year.

The Site Administrative Assistant supports multiple aspects of the facility and functional needs at Eaton’s Thomas A. Edison Technical Center in Franksville, WI.
This position reports directly to the site Facilities/EHS manager and collaborates with all Thomas A. Edison (Franksville site) departments as well as corporate staff (including global teams in Pune, India). This position provides administration in the areas of Division Functional Leadership, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, Accounting/SAP Systems, Facilities, and Environmental Health and Safety. This role is in support of the operations and engineering functional robustness function for Power Systems.
What you’ll do:
- Engineering Functional Administration: Intellectual Property (IP) – managing annual annuities, Division IP metrics; monitoring IDR/application progress
- Purchasing: Supports ordering for all facility and laboratory indirect materials and other lab-supporting purchases; manages P-card for facilities needs. Coordinates with corporate Pune staff.
- Shipping/Receiving: Manages all product/package shipping and receiving coordination for facility and product line supporting activities. Trains to become well-versed in managing customs logistics.
- Accounting / SAP Business System: Trains to become a site expert on SAP usage in the area of requisition submittal, PO expediting, GRIR issue resolution, invoice payments, tax definition resolutions. Coordinates with corporate Pune staff.
- Facilities: Supports facility management in the area of Lenel security, key control, access badges, mail, site events, lab coats, etc.
- EHS: Supports administrative aspects of MESH documentation, MOC tracking, chemical inventory, contractor reviews, HAZWASTE documentation, and performs various monthly inspections.
Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree or a two-year technical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation is offered for the position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Franksville, WI site. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in an administrative, facilities, supply chain, or business support role
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite tools
Skills:
- Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate.
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- The ability to utilize the computer to analyze and solve complex problems.
Knowledgebase / experience:
- WORD, Excel, Power Point
Additional knowledgebase / experience considered a plus:
- AP Business System
- Shipping / customs logistics
