As a Solutions Architect, you will: Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific hardware and software components and systems. Perform engineering Analysis of Alternatives activities to select optimal vendor solutions and capabilities. Support short technical proposal activities and conduct briefings of new technologies. Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation.

What You Have Accomplished:

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree, and 10 years of hands-on experience in IT solutioning/engineering (education may be substituted with experience).
• Possess an IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences and to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Experienced based on ITIL concepts and practices, and process focused
• Experience in a technical management role with an understanding of IT equipment, network and end user devices.
• Ability to handle complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide a quick and effective resolutions
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools, and some experience with network switches (port security and understanding of operations).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Eight years of hands-on systems engineering, and/or network, end-user, and security experience supporting the design, deployment, and operation of Enterprise IT capabilities.
• Strong understanding of ITSM fundamentals and related infrastructure to include some level of experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, VMware, Windows, UNIX and related operating systems; CAN Networking; Risk Management Framework, and Databases.
• Experience with Thin & Thick client end points, Cloud Computing, Splunk, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), VTC systems, and VoIP
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external customers with ease.
