Summary:
In this role, you will provide custom contracting for Mayo Clinic and the Captis and Achieve portfolios. You will develop customized contract strategy recommendations for more complex contracting needs (e.g., physician preference, clinical preference, purchase services, capital, lab) to reduce spend, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Effectively work with the Mayo/Captis/Achieve teams to provide contracting support for cost savings projects.

Possess excellent knowledge of the negotiation process.

Work independently with legal team to develop language, draft contracts, and negotiate terms and conditions of complex contracts (e.g., physician preference, clinical preference, purchase services, capital, lab).

Demonstrate strong understanding of RFP process and contractual terms to provide guidance through the contracting process.

Evaluate client spend data to prioritize implementation of contracts based on highest savings opportunities and present a plan of priority to clients.

Conduct ongoing contract maintenance to ensure relevant pricing and product coverage.

Develop and ensure appropriate timelines are followed to meet necessary deadlines based on workflow system/bid calendar.
Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred.

2 or more years of relevant experience required.

Prior experience in a health care sourcing/procurement role required.

Contract negotiations experience required.

Ability to communicate with and influence various levels in an organization.

Excellent account management and verbal/written communication skills.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to present complex information in a summary fashion utilizing Microsoft tools required.

Prior experience understanding and conducting analysis and quantitative/qualitative assessment of data is a plus.

Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$77,400.00 - $115,050.00
