Are you an experienced and dedicated culinary professional with a proven track record as a Sous Chef? Our renowned restaurant and catering company is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Sous Chef to join our team. If you have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, possess reliable transportation, and have the ability to work alongside our Executive Chef to maintain our high culinary standards, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop innovative and seasonally inspired menus
- Oversee and actively participate in food preparation, ensuring that dishes are executed to the highest standards
- Lead and motivate the culinary team, setting a positive example and fostering a culture of excellence
- Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular quality checks, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Work alongside the Executive Chef to maintain consistent culinary standards and quality across all menu items
- Assist with menu costing, inventory management, and procurement to optimize profitability
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, implementing new ideas into our culinary offerings
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary role
- Strong culinary background with a deep understanding of techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and flexibility for scheduling needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to work alongside the Executive Chef to maintain and elevate culinary standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
