Department: Rehabilitation Services

Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $73,225.90-$113,939.06

Pay Grade: 14

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation, the Speech Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating residents in accordance with facility, state and federal rules and regulations.

General Responsibilities:

The Speech Therapist provides evaluations, treatments and consultation for speech therapy. Participates in facility committees to enhance the overall care of residents and provides clinical supervision to department professionals. Ability to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct speech therapy. Able to maintain evaluations, treatment records, resident files, progress notes and other medical form/charting according to federal, state, local and depart guidelines. Participates in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· Must possess current license to practice Speech Therapy in the State of New Hampshire

· Maintains clinical competency by attendance at workshops, seminars and formal course work
