You will promote best practices across the entire company by developing deep knowledge and client relationships in each spend category. Provide expert integrated business planning and stakeholder management for all indirect items and services. Apply intelligent rate, demand and specification levers to source, negotiate and contract services while sustainably lowering costs. Propel the business with accurate and comprehensive demand forecasting, financial planning and item setup. You’ll help to change the game for our internal online catalog end users by making the entire buying process faster and simpler. As a Sr. Analyst, Procurement Services you’ll develop a deep knowledge in the area of Procure to Pay (P2P) with an extensive command of the tools, processes and techniques required to support partner and client business needs. You are responsible for understanding the primary requirements to support enhanced spend visibility and drive effective business decisions. Proactively collaborate with teams within Procurement and primary purchasing units (Go Cart users) to align on business objectives and needs so effective reports, metrics and measurements can be provided. Comprehend tools for collecting, analyzing and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements in Indirect spend. Responsible for analyzing existing operational reports to collect information in order to track trends, identify opportunities, and determine impacts of strategic and operational changes on metrics. Additionally, you will help to identify data and key metrics when reporting may not always be available. You will support our chatbot automation program ensuring the proper data and reporting is utilized consistently in the implementation of these solutions. You will be responsible for creating and utilizing metrics, reports and dashboards which are used to assist business partners in making decisions, gaining efficiencies, and driving change. You’ll closely collaborate with Product teams, Procurement, HQ, and field partners in the development and execution of your work. You will also identify process improvement opportunities by applying appropriate optimization or other analytical methods, create metrics/KPIs/measurements, and reporting to support the indirect category teams key strategic initiatives as well as scalable analytics and reporting solutions. You’ll leverage your communication skills to interact effectively with support partners, cross-functional teams (CFT), suppliers and Procurement teams. You’ll be responsible for reprioritizing work with limited direction and complete additional duties as assigned. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant experience (Industry experience with data analytics and reporting preferred)
Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make recommendations for future action
Strong critical thinking & troubleshooting skills, operational support experience, technical aptitude
Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
Ability to understand and use data visualization tools
Comfort and familiarity leveraging SQL
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and building presentations
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Understanding of SAP, Ariba, related data and the ability to learn broader analytical and data tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$67,600.00 USD - $121,700.00 USD.
