Sr. Engineering Manager

• Lead a team of talented engineers and technicians (6-10 people) responsible for the functional, electrical and thermal validation of power and isolation products
• Collaborate on and approve detailed silicon validation plans based on the product’s requirements and specifications
• Manage team priorities and validation schedules
• Drive continuous improvement by developing new validation techniques, increasing level of automation and improving validation process efficiency
• Provide technical and career growth to team members using Continuous Performance Management techniques
• Drive execution of validation team responsibilities, including
• Design and development of engineering PCBs (schematic capture, layout review) and test fixtures
• Implementation and maintenance of laboratory test suites
• Automation of validation and characterization test flows through software and scripting (Python, LabView, C, C++)
• Support IC design team during initial product verification and debug
• Characterization of product performance across process, voltage and temperature
• Track and report bugs or performance issues to the broader product team including marketing and design teams
• Generate validation reports and conduct reviews with larger teams

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related degree)
• 8+ years industry experience and 3+ years of management or technical leadership
• Experience managing the priorities and performance of a technical team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience generating comprehensive validation plans from a product datasheet
• Experience preparing technical reports for peers, customers and management
• Desire and creativity to win and grow our business in an ever-changing market as a key member of a dynamic cross-functional team focused on success and growth

Pay: $175,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
