Blood borne Pathogens Training & Hepatitis B Requirement
Responsibilities
- Sketch concepts and generate 3D models using input from engineers.
- Design precision machined, plastic molded and cast parts that are critical to function, user interface or both while ensuring cost effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Ensure manufacturability of 3D models/drawings
- Conduct relevant and detailed engineering analysis (structural, thermal, tolerance stack up, optical, etc.) on components and subassemblies
- Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations, and standards
- Conduct drawings reviews to get feedback and execute on appropriately
- Order prototype parts and assemble and test prototypes
- Develop assembly instructions for prototypes
- Provide support during build and assembly process during design transfer
- Adhere to regulations such as ISO 9001, EN 61010-1.
- Create complete documentation packages (part models, assembly models, detail drawings, assembly drawings, commercial part specifications and Bills of Material)
- Use document management system to release documentation packages to production
- Familiarity with new product phased-gate development process through design, manufacturing transition and commercial release
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ Years of relevant mechanical design experience with SolidWorks
- Completed HSD/GED required
- Strong computer and mathematical skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proven strong hands on skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to change
- Able to work in a team environment and be a team player/collaborator
- Self-motivated attitude and ability to take initiative
