Position Purpose/Summary: Under the direction of Member Business Sales Manager, administer and support the activities of commercial lending to accomplish Member Business Lending goals and objectives. Responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of commercial loan accounts that meet established lending requirements and provide maximum profitability to Visions Federal Credit Union at minimal risk. Responsible for developing, maintaining and servicing credits within a loan portfolio or assigned portfolio. Duties require handling delinquent loans, problem members and situations, and workout situations. Attend and represent Visions Federal Credit Union at community or business-related functions.

Education & Experience: This position would minimally require a bachelor’s degree (equivalent education + experience) and at least three or more years of experience working in commercial lending.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Due to the nature of this role in dealing with groups of diverse employees and/or members on an on-going basis, the position requires (and is not limited to):

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Competent in critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Interpret and accurately understand financial documents for analysis
  • Flexibility (able to adapt to changing environment)
  • Ability to use and/or learn variety of software as required for job/position.
  • Positively communicate with diverse membership population while providing excellent customer service
  • Strong computer and math skills, adherence to confidentiality, detail-oriented
