Use your Workday Studio, Core Connector and document transformation experience to enhance, support, maintain, monitor and resolve issues within the Workday data integrations environment.

This position’s core responsibility is to leverage the Covetrus Workday integration platform for developing, supporting, and providing care and maintenance to the system data integrations between Workday and enterprise business systems, customer/vendor systems, and ancillary or add-on systems.
Responsibilities also include assisting in the configuration, customization, troubleshooting, onboarding activities and general support across the Program and Project Management Systems
This role partners with stakeholders to develop, implement and deliver highly adopted systems that drive the HRIS, Payroll, Legal, and Compliance strategies and leverage the return on technological capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and support inbound and Outbound integrations in Workday using various Workday Integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors/Document Transformation, Cloud Connectors and Payroll Connectors

Collaborate and assist in the technical support and maintenance of other Enterprise Business Systems platforms including the Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and Contract Lifecycle Management Ecosystem.

Developed Complex inbound/Outbound integrations using EIB, connectors and Studio (SOAP/REST Workday Web service calls)

Provide Business as Usual monitoring and support for all enterprise Workday Integration environment.

Maintenance and care of existing integration systems and respond to user’s questions and problems related to these systems

Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary

Engage the business and vendors to gather integration requirements, execute development, configuration, Test program and deployment of integrations.

Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Create and maintained integration and Reporting Documentation (Technical design Documents and FDDs)

Collaborating with Enterprise Business Systems, Enterprise IT Infrastructure & Operations, and business unit dedicated IT teams to keep systems operational and secure

Collaborate with external partners, functional areas and functional/tech peers to achieve resolution of issues

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related work experience

3+ years of experience in business and HR applications including Workday
-
3+ years of experience in the Workday application of modern integration technologies (Workday Studio, Workday EIB, Workday Report Writer, EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, C#, middleware)

Experience with administering project portfolio and work management systems a plus but will consider training the right candidate.

Experience working in a production support environment

Competencies (Skills & Abilities)

Experience on Workday Connectors/ Packaged integrations. Development of integrations with Benefit Connectors (CCB), Financial Connectors, Banking Connectors, CCW, Payroll Connectors (PICOF and PECI), and Time and absence connectors

Experience supporting and building low-code solutions with one or more following: Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Teams, Azure DevOps, OnePlan.ai a plus

Microsoft Power Platform experience a plus

Congruent designer and developer experience with demonstrated ability to deliver coded integration work to a production environment

Expertise in SQL, XML, XSLT, and Web Services technologies

Experience with the various technologies involved in Simple object access protocol (SOAP) development (Web Services), REST and RAAS
-
Worked extensively on Payroll Interfaces and have designed and developed integrations in both Workday Studio and EIB
-
Experience with Data encryption/ Decryption techniques, Various file transfer methodologies (SFTP with Username password/SSH, FTP & FTPS) and sequence generators

Hands on experience in inbound/ outbound integrations Using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, managing business processes, EIB, Report Writer, Creating Workday Calculated Fields and Custom Reports

Technical Environments/Areas: Workday 2022 R2, Workday Studio, Workday BIRT, Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Calculated Fields, Workday Report writer, XML, XSLT

Experience with applied XSLT transformations to XML Data and have worked extensively on web service integration (SOAP, WSDL, and XML)

Strong knowledge of on premise and SaaS architectures

Self-starter with proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Proven communication effectiveness

Bachelor’s Degree (technical degree strongly preferred)
