Ansell is looking for a Senior Specialist of Brand/Product Marketing to join our team in Iselin, NJ!
About this opportunity:
Role Profile:
- Position Title: Senior Specialist, Brand/Product Marketing
- Job Location: Iselin, NJ
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Status: Exempt
- Reports to: Senior Manager – Acute & Surgical Marketing
Specific responsibilities include:
- Own all product and product marketing related areas for the acute and surgical glove (and related exam) portfolio and be the main representative for the region in championing the portfolio.
- Key member of the commercial team, providing regular input and recommendations on the formulation of the commercial strategy and execution of the regional product management responsibilities.
What would this role look like in detail?
- Works in collaboration with marketing team to develop and execute commercial strategy, marketing plans and initiatives to achieve goals.
- Drives Acute & Surgical Gloves Marketing sales efforts to close/upsell new business via implementation of new sales tools, maintaining existing tools, and providing ongoing competitor and geographic targeting.
- Owns product data and claims for the region, working with the market and global partners to ensure accuracy and define needs.
- Maintains North America master data records for portfolio’s product technical data and specifications, ensures accuracy of product collateral in print and digital interfaces. Ensures collateral and product/ product samples are stocked and available in fulfillment centers.
- Supports all medical product launches – Ensure product is loaded into internal websites, distribution websites, create launch packets and communication materials in the form of launch announcements (working with the Marketing team) and delivers product training.
- Owns acute and surgical market research and analysis on market opportunities (including eCommerce), defines gaps within product range, devises methods for customer experience enhancements; manages regulatory, packaging and labeling, and product discontinuations.
- Works closely with marketing and regional teams to align product offering in a cohesive portfolio.
- Maintain accurate product portfolio with channel partners systems & websites and work with distribution partners to optimize information.
- Supports all NA Medical Acute/Surgical RFPs with supporting documents (Excel and Power Point Presentations), cross functional teams and respective business owners to drive market share in medical markets ensuring accuracy of data.
- Maintains key competitor database information for cross references; develop compelling differentiation and competitive content/assets to differentiate Ansell portfolio from competitors in market.
- Owns data related to customer feedback within region, related to evaluations, and product Improvements.
- Prepares, conducts, and maintains product training for internal and external sellers and customers.
- Develops and supports portfolio forecasting and pricing strategies for NA, aligned with Canadian business
What will you bring to Ansell?
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business or commensurate experience and education
3+ years of marketing experience with experience in product management and forecast discipline
Knowledge of medical products market
Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Siebel, Oracle, lead management software tools, etc.)
Sales experience is a plus!
Ability to travel: Sales & Marketing meetings, tradeshows, distributor meetings + field visits/product (15-20%).
