• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements for several properties.
• Assist with annual budgets.
• Assist in filing sales and use tax returns monthly for all properties in different states.
• Assist with year-end audits including submitting year end financials and other source documents.
• Assist in managing cash requirements and daily bank account reconciliation.
• Ensure that cash and credit card deposits are properly logged.
• Ensure external accountants accurately reconcile all general ledger accounts.
• Post Accounts Payable ensuring correct coding of invoices by the General Manager as well as ensure vendor reconciliations are done monthly.
• Obtain and track W-9 forms and process annual 1099 forms as needed.
• Maintain a chart of accounts.
• Work with other departments and management to produce reports or provide information.
• Establish rapport with the General Managers and VP of Operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience in Hospitality industry (Hotels) preferred.
• Accounting: Prefer 1-2 years minimum relevant experience in hotel industry.
